description
the gun is composed of two main compoents from different manufacturers. The barrel jacket and chamber block
were manufactured by Mauser Borsigwalde in 1940. The bear the code S/243, Tthe corresponding Waffenamt mark
e/26 and the serial number 248b. There two additional marks, a crowned AN (Spanish Air Force) and an X (Russian
capture mark). The receiver assembly was made by BSW and it bears the corresponding e/WaA4 Waffenamt mark.
The bolt is made by BSW too but it has a different serial number. Other smaller parts are from fifferent makers and
with different serial numbers.
