the main components of the gun are matching. The receiver/barrel bears the manufacturer code ce, for Sauer and
the subcontractor Waffenamt mark e/WaA254. The serial number is 2125y/44. The grip/trigger assembly bears the
same serial number 2125y and the corresponding e/37 Waffenamt. The bolt carrier was made by Haenel while the
bolt is from Sauer. Smaller parts, such as the stock holder and the stock have different numbers. The 30-round
magazine was manufactured postwar in the DDR and is code marked 1001.
